Easter
I can't believe I forgot to add Easter into that last post, DUH!
So we had a fun Easter even thought we were away from the families. We dyed eggs on Saturday, Denton thought that was pretty cool and on Sunday that darn Easter Bunny left a bunch off eggs around our house:) The boys had so much fun finding them, Gage really doesn't understand but he had fun anyway. They got the Ants in the Pants game, some Thomas the Train trains some goldfish (the ones you eat) and of course a little bit of candy. Mom and Dad sent them a basket with an outfit and Gage got a bubble machine and Denton got a new Batman and of course candy. They loved it! I didn't have to work that day so we went over to Bob (Scot Blackbelt teacher) and Jennifer's house. They have 2 kids Natalie who is 12 and Jack is 10. They were so good with the boys and the boys just loved them, it was a lot of fun. Denton was super excited to cook our hotdogs on the fire again, we really need to get a grill. haha

Week 9 til now :)
Yes, I have been lazy but mostly because I don't think we've done a whole lot lately cuz its been so cold still! lol
Well, my Mom came out here to visit and babysit for us while we went to the Jazz/ Timberwolves game in March then the boys and I went back to UT with her for a few weeks. That was a great trip, we got to see the families and just hang out . We were sad to leave but we are excited to see what more Minnesota has to offer:) Lately Scot and I have just been working and the boys have just been playing and growing like weeds. We try and get out to see new things whenever we can and just today found a really cool park right on the lake about a mile from our house. Denton loved walking around in the freezing water with Scot as they buried their feet in the sand. Gage is a huge fan of the swings and would stay in there forever. He likes to go down the slide too and just goes by himself. He met a cute little girl on the playground by our house the other day and before I knew it he was trying to give her kisses, such a little flirt! We saw some deer just up the hill from our house yesterday as we were coming home from a walk, that's the first ones we've seen since we've been here!
My mom and Dad are coming out in a few weeks and can't wait to see them! I wish everyone could come visit us sometime, its so pretty here:)
Denton is improving so much with his tumbling, he can flip over the horizontal bar all by himself and his teacher uses him quite a bit to show the other kids how to do something, he loves it!
Well, that's it in a nut shell for now. I'll try and do better keeping this up to date. Thanks to all those who read it!!

week 8
Sick kid and husband has been the fun of this week. Gage has been sick ever since he got his shots and I'm pretty sure Scot picked up something from the office. So this week has been pretty uneventful.
I did take the kids out Thursday for a bit just to get out and we actually got to go for a walk on Wed, it was nice:) We walked down to the playground in our community cuz I was hoping it might be more clear but Denton couldn't even walk over to it because the snow was still too deep. haha Then we walked over to the chicken nugget house aka Wendy's and he had some lunch. Its nice to have things so accessible the grocery store is right there too.
I got a very nice surprise for Valentines day, Scot got me a gift certificate to the spa that is right by our house and I used it Sat for a Chakra Balancing Massage. Ahhh, it was great! I took Denton to tumbling by myself that day too because we didn't think the other parents would appreciate Scot and Gage coughing all over everything. They learned more tumbling moves and did more tricks on the beam and bar. It is so fun to go with him and I can't wait for my mom to be here and go with us. It's take a friend day Sat but he doesn't have anyone to take:(
We had a snow storm come through yesterday and I decided that I should probably stay home from work because where we live doesn't get plowed until it stops snowing and I was afraid I wouldn't make it back home. We got about a foot if not a little more. Scot went out every hour to keep our path from the garage to the drive somewhat clear so he'd be able to get out this morning but that didn't work, he's still here. We both had snow days! lol It was nice to have that time with the family yesterday, we stayed in our pajamas all day. I like my job but being able to have a whole day with my family is so nice:) I'll attempt to go in tonight, I think its pretty busy tonight. Denton is doing so great on going potty in the toilet, we took a picture the other day because he was so proud of going poop! It was funny:) Gage is everywhere and is trying to talk more and more. He can say ball, go go go and pup pup. Pup pup is his puppy's name. I've tried to post some more videos but they must be too big because they take forever to upload or it freezes up on me. 3 more weeks and we'll be back in Utah!!!!! I can't wait:)

#7
Let me see, what happened this week.
I work the weekends so when Sunday comes around I forget what we've done during the week. I took the boys out Tuesday for some shopping, lunch at the cheeseburger house aka McDonalds and playing at the mall. Denton met a cute little girl and they played for like an hour on the little soft toys there. We always have to stop at Karmelkorn and get brown popcorn before we leave too haha. I like the Burnsville Center, they still have the pet store with live animals and its not ginormous like Mall of America. It was so cold that day and I felt bad taking the kids out in it but they as well as myself go stir crazy sitting in the house all the time. I wish we had my car here sometimes. Gage had his 12 month Dr visit Thursday, Dr Wuu is nice:) He had to get 3 shots and he told us he could develop a rash all over his body plus fever really bad and to watch for seizures! What the crap!! I wouldn't even do the immunizations if they weren't required for school. We talked to mom, dad and the kids this week too and that is always fun. I miss the kids a lot, all of them. I've started the count down til we are back home, I hope it comes fast:)
I finally got my first paycheck Friday, that was nice!! We took Denton tumbling Sat morning then went mattress shopping after. I put a down payment on a posturepedic mattress and hope to god it helps my back and I can sleep better! Denton sure likes his tumbling class, he is getting really good at the beam and rings. I think he just likes to run around and play and nobody is telling him "don't do this or don't do that" They pretty much have free reign there. They do teach them how to listen and follow what they're taught. The teachers are all really patient and so good with the kids:)
Work has been really busy this weekend with Valentines Day and all. I like my job and the people I work with are really cool too. I'm still looking for a couple hang out friends with kids but no luck yet. Oh well.
Not much has changed with Scots job, he just does what he's asked and is good at it. He did get his cubicle up here in Lakeville so he can start working from there a couple days a week now.
I guess that's it for this week.
